The sign comes with a pre-installed hanger on the back, ensuring hassle-free setup. These custom national park signs also include a drywall anchor and screw is also provided for hanging the sign inside or outside. If you’d like a different hanging method, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your method of hanging.

If you’d like to mount your sign on a post, please select “No Hanger” and you will be able to easily mount it with screws, wood glue, or liquid nails. All sign orders(no matter which hanger you choose) come with a wood screw and drywall anchor.

Exterior Finish

If you intend to display your national park sign outside, opt for the exterior finish that safeguards it from the elements. Please note that this finish will slightly darken the wood’s natural color, enhancing its durability while maintaining its rustic appeal. Please note that no wood finish will last forever so it’s important to re-finish your sign every year or couple of years if it’s exposed to direct sunlight. This will vary based on your environment. When re-applying finish, we recommend an exterior polyurethane or Rust-Oleum Triple Thick Glaze.
