Custom Laser Cut Wood Signs
Every sign we make starts on a laser cutter and finishes by hand. The laser gives clean edges and detail that a router or a bandsaw cannot hold. The hand work is what turns cut parts into something worth hanging.
Shapes we cut
- Rectangular, the standard for reception walls and offices, 18 inches up to 60 inches
- Circular, 17 to 35 inches, routed and sanded round
- Contour cut, following the exact silhouette of your logo rather than boxing it into a rectangle
- Multi layer, stacking two or three layers so the design has real foreground and background
Materials and finish
Baltic birch plywood, 1/2 inch for the base and 1/4 inch for the cut elements. Eleven stains from white wash through to ebony, or painted for an exact brand color where the grain should not show. An exterior clear coat is available for anything going outdoors.
What laser cutting is good at, and what it is not
It is excellent at fine detail, tight interior cutouts, repeatable accuracy across a batch, and clean edges that need almost no sanding.
It does not do gradients. A blend has to be painted by hand across the cut pieces afterwards, which we do, and it is the slowest thing in the shop. It also has a size limit: our bed takes sheets up to 5 feet, so 60 inches is the longest side we can produce.

What file should I send?
Vector is best (.svg, .eps, .ai or high quality PDF). We can work from a PNG or JPEG and convert it, though very fine detail may need a small adjustment.
How large can you go?
60 inches on the long side.
